The Scavenger and her Captain: A Reysma Story

Another great commission done by the awesome  issentlov for my Star Wars fanfiction I'm going to be posting next month on fanfiction.net 

The story is Reysma ( Rey/Phasma) and follows a time before 'The Force Awakens' and during the film. The backstory and pre-film era tells the story of Rey growing up on Jakku, her only friend and companion being Phasma, who is two years older than her. The two live together, and Phasma helps Rey survive. 

The two face challenges over the years, including rival scavengers, violent sandstorms, food rationing, sickness, and other issues, but come out on top while having each others backs. Phasma is the first to realise her feelings for Rey however are no longer between friends, but that she has romantic feelings for the younger girl, Rey soon realises this as well. 

An ongoing conflict between the two, is Rey's desire to stay on Jakku, while Phasma wishes to take her off planet when they can, as she wants to give Rey a better life, and for them not to live in such hardships, this leads to an ongoing tension between the two. This all culminates when Rey awakens one morning and finds Phasma gone, and rushes out to find her, just in time to see her leaving Jakku, leaving her much like she had been years before.

This breaks Rey's heart, and she thinks she will never see Phasma again, that is however until years later, when she is trapped on Starkiller base and comes face to face with the Captain of the Stormtroopers, and realisation dawns on Rey as to who is behind the silver helmet.
